It was a looooong time ago...
Max and I met 10 years ago during our freshman year of college at one of his house parties. I was back in Seattle one weekend from college (about 2 hours away), staying with Liz at her dorm. One of her dormmates told us about a party her close friend was having and that he lived super close to campus...
He remembers me as the overly competitive beer pong player and I remember him as the weirdo who covered his floor in black garbage bags so that the ping pong balls wouldn't get covered in cat hair when they hit the floor. The night ended with me crying on his staircase of the house we now live in together, over my boyfriend of the time, and he stopped to tell me that whoever it was, wasn't
Who would've known then, that we would perfect for one another?
Over the following few years we became great friends,
For many of you who have met Max, it is hard not to get along with him. He's incredibly funny and often quietly sneaks in one-liners that will leave everyone
It's finally happening people...
WE'RE GETTIN' HITCHED!!
Welcome to our "wed"site! We've created this wedsite as a fun, convenient, and special way for friends and family who are both near and far to celebrate with us. We hope you'll use it to get to know us better and keep up-to-date on our future plans.
So, why did we choose a destination wedding in Mexico?... the short answer is that we wanted it to be a vacation for everyone involved (including us!) This, of course, meant that we would be leaving a huge chunk of people without an option to attend (shout out to all of our pregnant or trying-to-get-pregnant family and friends!!)... we will miss you on the big day. But, for those of you who can make it, we promise that it will be a vacation for the books! Full of fun-in-the-sun adventures, poolside relaxation, and conversations that leave you laughing so hard you might pee a little... not to mention unlimited food, booze, and funky dance moves (see what I did there?)
We just wanted to say that we are beyond grateful for all the positive influences in our lives. Thank you to all our friends and family for your love and support over the years... you are the truth behind our happiness and we are truly lucky to be able to call you "ours".
Now go strap on your sombrero and grab a corona, it's time to get married!
